Bart changed out the chandelier in the dining room. Jackson & Carter thought it was the greatest thing ever to have a ladder in the house. Jackson climbed up and down over and over again, and Carter was so happy just to stand hang on and then walk himself back and forth next to the ladder.
Jackson decided that since Daddy had to use his ladder to put up the light, he needed his own ladder. So he got my step stool out and set up his own ladder to make sure he wasn't left out. Jackson would rather fix something with his daddy than do anything else. No matter where we are, or what he sees that is broken (the intercom at Sam's club, the play place at McDonalds, someone's car broken down in a parking lot) Jackson always says my daddy come, he has tools. He fix it. It's pretty great to have a little guy believe that no matter what you can do anything. Bart's eyes just light up, when he hears how his little buddy can't get enough of dad. (and I don't think there is anything better than seeing my honey with my boys).
