Every other year we go the BYU vs. UNLV game at Sam Boyd Stadium (Grandpa got us amazing tickets - 50 yard line 8 rows up). We've been to a BYU game at Cougar Stadium at least once every season. We watch every game through the football season. Our boys call BYU "our team". Jackson and Carter actually watch the entire game. Jackson is starting to understand the actual point and rules of football. Carter cheers for everything that happens. Ball thrown: Cheer. Ball kicked: Cheer. Incomplete: Cheer. Touchdown: Cheer. Fumble: Cheer. For the record: We killed UNLV. (And the boys love having blue hair.)
Are they going to make it? Yes! Touchdown!
Football is fun, but treats make it even better...
(Bleachers are really fun to be upside down on too... keeps two year olds busy.)
It's hard to be a BYU fan. We start out so well. We get attention and start trying to make our case for bigger and better competitors. Maybe a BCS bid. Then our guys sleep walk through the two biggest games of the year. Sometimes I think that if no one paid attention to us we'd have fantastic seasons, but as soon as we start getting noticed we lose it. At least there is always next season. Either way we are still Blue - Through & Through.
